Plus, a review of JANNIE TOTSIENS (JOHNNY FAREWELL), the avant-garde Afrikaans ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, from some dude named Trevor, who writes like he's been sniffing his own underpants.

Only 3 stars for UHF, eh? Well, we can still associate, just not in public.

Haven't got a chance to watch Ponyo yet. Hope to do so while it's still in theaters.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

I originally rated it 3.5 and then marked it down after it sat in my mind a while.  I saw it with an 8 and 11 year old and I think their laughter influenced me to give it that extra half star.  Watching some of the jokes again, alone, I wondered if I will remember them in 6 months.  But it was pleasant while I watched it, which usually equates to 3 stars from me.  I had heard so much about it over the years, and frankly, I just didn't see what the big deal was.  Funny, but nothing epic.
