How do you know when you've watched too much Star Trek ?

Easy - when you start saying: "to the bridge" way too much.

It seems whenever there is a holiday or event (as today's with a baptism) I eat a bunch of stuff at noon and try to convince myself I won't be hungry later.  I'm eating toast right now because I'm rather hungry.

Adults fail to remember being like that but will notice it quickly in kids. I deal with it every day and can't wait until my kids have to deal with it from their children when they have them. It's the parental revenge thing. Fortunately those who don't have kids get only limited quanities of it.
