need info on movie

ive been looking for this movie for years..its about 2 aliens who come to earth,one evil alien and one good alien.these aliens have these arm weapons.the good alien kills the bad one and leaves earth..a teenage boy finds the dead aliens arm weapon and an amulet the alien wore...the boy takes the weapon and amulet...he then starts to turn into the alien and the amulet embeds it self into the boys chest...he thens loses control of himself and destroys his town until the good alien comes back and kills him...any help on this would be great....i know someone has seen this movie before....
