I purchased the trilogy dvd and so far for the past two years on NEW YEARS EVE we watch it thru the new year celebration.  it will become a ritual in our household..we love all three.....

It's like Jaws. On land. With tentacles. Which means it's better than Jaws. Because... well... tentacles!

Also, it's like one of the last great American monster movies made before CGI became the status quo.

Long live the Graboids!!!



On a related note, I've always liked Tremors 2 a lot, but after that... bleh.

That film is actually a good one, even according to the critics. It's one of those "bad" flicks that does its genre some justice.

Its a cult classic & such a fun movie.   

The head under the hat scene is a great creepy moment.
