Mr. DS

I am saddened.  The guy was a decent actor and had one hell of a battle with cancer.   :bluesad:  RIP Patrick, thanks for the movies.

I knew that he had been suffering greatly.  He had  a big ranch house just up the road from me, near Bonham, TX.  I used to drive by it.  What a shame - a fine actor, and by all accounts, a decent human being.  RIP Patrick.

Such a shame.  He was a good actor.  My mom and dad are giant fans of his film Road House and I enjoyed his performance in The Outsiders.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Very sad news.  Goodnight, PATRICK

Patrick, you gave me one of the greatest movies of all time: Road House.  I'm not even joking.  Thank you for that, I hope that wherever you are, you know how much joy that movie -- and you -- brought into my life.

I'll miss you.

Whenever someone under 60 dies it's too soon.

I thought the way the paparazzi treated him was awful. The guy was dying and all they wanted was a terrible picture to get on the cover of some rag. That's disgusting. But, he's at  peace now.

Jim Carroll also passed away. People Who Died was his big hit, and he wrote The Basketball Diaries.

Joe the Destroyer

Farewell, Patrick.  Thank you for your contribution to the art.

Psycho Circus

I'm so gutted that Patrick Swayze has died....way too soon.

I've grown up watching almost every single one of his films, and loved nearly all of them: Dirty Dancing, Roadhouse, Red Dawn, Point Break, Youngblood, all great enjoyable flicks. I always thought Patrick was a great looking guy, a very cool actor and he seemed like a stand up guy off camera too.

I'm really bummed. Hearing "She's Like The Wind" is gonna have me blubbin' more than ever now.

I haven't even seen many of his movies but I really like the guy.  Truly tragic to see him go so soon.

Patrick played in one of my favorites tv movie and show The Renegades and Renegades R.I.P. Patrick.
