Hey guys, I remember seeing a preview awhile back for a horror film that takes place in the Civil War era (or at least, sometime in the 1800s).  Basically, it's about a group of soldiers who are out looking for some people who are missing, whom they think are being killed by roving bands of Indians.  Eventually though, they figure out that Indians can't be responsible for the bodies they're finding (film implies the victims are being pulled underground and eaten) and everyone eventually holes up in a cabin to try and fight the monsters off.

And no, it's not Tremors Prequel.

Not sure when it was made, but I'm pretty sure it was recently, probably within five years at the most.

The Human Blood keeps them alive, FOREVER

Sounds like THE BURROWERS.

Another decent Civil War era horror flick is DEAD BIRDS.

I'll third "The Burrowers." That description perfectly matches the film.
