A guy and a ghost.

I am working on doing a write up on an odd movie I saw a number of years ago but I cant remember the name of it. It would have been in the late 80's to early 90's that I had seen it on TV.

From what I remember its about a guy that buys an old house and then begins to see a ghost. I seem to remember that the ghost was almost grim reaper-looking with a hood and a general skeletal appearance. One night when the ghost appeared it motioned for him to follow, which he did, down into the basement where it disappeared into a wall. He finds a woman's skeleton buried behind the wall.

At this point the ghost changes appearance and becomes an attractive woman that the goes and sleeps with the guy. I don't really remember much after that. I don't think that it was a skinemax flick but I suppose that its possible that it was and I am remembering incorrectly.

this sound like the scenes that are in the same movie i am looking for.  the title of my thread is "love story with ghosts" should be on page two of the forum threads.  your description sounds very much with extra things i remember from my mystery film.  does my description recall any memories for you?

It does sound like we are looking for the same movie. I remember the ghost having no eyes before her remains were buried.

I still cant remember the title though
