Dang it, don't you hate when you're looking for a particular, sometimes popular thread on badmovies.org forum, but you don't remember the EXACT title of the thread, so the search keeps making you wade through a ton of stuff to find it? AHHHH!

Anyway, anyone remember what we called this thread where we posted random song lyrics? (And yes, I tried "random song lyrics", "song lyrics", "random songs", everything I could think of...)

Ahhh song lyrics of the day... "lyrics" instead of lyric. That's what I was missing.

Course, now I forgot what lyric I was going to post.

I haven't really aired this but my father has been in the hospital for dementia the past few weeks. Its been a rough ride for all of us and due to my family schedule (wife, two kids) my involvement has been souly over the phone. But luckily my mother and brother have been taking care of things back home. It all started when he had an episode where he locked himself in my mother's car and started honking the horn. He ended up, after a brief medical stay, in a geriatric psych ward for a week. Now he is resting comfortably a few miles from my parent's house at a very nice rest home. I talked to him on the phone and he sounded so pleased with the place which almost brought a tear to my eye. I hope he can continue to be happy there because he has been on a downhill slide for the better part of a few years.

My sympathies Darksider, hope everything turns out okay. Glad to hear he's happy and he seems to be doing well. I know what you're going through; a few years ago my dad got heatstroke playing golf, fell over and fractured his skull. He was in the hospital for a couple weeks and then in the nursing home for rehab for a month. It's pretty darned stressful. Luckily he's made a complete recovery.

They were better than that song. Although I still think it's better than any "rock" song currently in the charts both sides of the Atlantic. Cherry Pie was written in 5mins Jani Lane admitted, due to label pressure. The album was originally supposed to be titled "Uncle Tom's Cabin". It's pretty much what drove him to drink and weight gain, forever being known as the "Cherry Pie" guy.
