The last time I dressed up for Halloween was back in 2004 when I went as The Lone Ranger.
The costume looked pretty good, but none of the younger people had any idea who I was supposed to be.  I must've expained who the Lone Ranger was to 20 different people that night.

Since Halloween is on a Saturday night this year, everybody and their grandmother will be out.

A buddy and I went to the local costume shop and had a look around yesterday.
I wanted to be a mack daddy pimp with all the bling and big hat and everything, but most of the pimp outfits cost around $100 to rent.

After some looking around, I decided to try on the Zorro costume and it looked awesome!
It came with the black shirt and pants, leather spats, mask, hat, and full metal sword.
I dropped $70 and rented it.

So this year I will be going out on the town dressed as Zorro.  I'll post pictures of me in costume tomorrow night.
I hope I don't have to explain to the younger people who Zorro is.

How about you?

I was planning on it.  I have a full Freddy Krueger costume ready, and dressed up for a party last week.  But a guy at work wanted to take his kid trick or treating so I told him I'd cover his shift.  Kinda can't go to work dressed up.

Mr. Briggs don't go naked on Halloween, no sir; Candy or not, the costume is an essential part of the environment!

Right now I am at the computer, dressed as Sack-Head from The Strangers :P
