Movie Idea - Inverse Vampires

Here's the pitch:

Jumping on the ever popular Vampire movie bandwagon, it's another Vampire movie. But with a twist!

Rather than having to avoid sunlight, they require it!

Picture the B movie scene - A pair of girls go down to the beach for a holiday. They meet a hunky man on the beach and he tries to charm one of them. That evening as the sun sets, he gets loved up with one of them and bites her neck. Over the next few days the girls skin becomes itchy, burning sensations and red. She needs the sunlight to rapidly rejuvenate her skin...

The movie involves a group of girls becoming 'Inverse Vampires' and taking up life on a nudist beach in order to get the sun all over their skin. It features tense scenes where clothes begin coming off as the skin burns in only a couple of hours without sun exposure. Can she maintain her friendships with normal people? Or will they be horrified as she progressively strips naked in front of them? The girls buy sunbeds for sleeping, which cheesily have a kind of coffin like shape. There can even be a horrifying scene where a girl runs into the sun and rips off her bra to reveal a close up camera shot of burnt breasts. But then she lays naked in the sun and they quickly heal and return to a state of perfect beauty.

You see, it's kind of a horror porn movie. Complete with a popular premise and an excellent twist. But its not like they are going around having sex, that's not necessary to the movie. There can even be additions such as a penchant for consuming tasty garlic with their meals. And increased piety, as the Inverse Vampires love to wear a cross around their neck and go to church. But I'm thinking that the stake through the heart should be retained, since it can't be inverted.

So, who wants to play Igor?

Good, Bad and Ugly... :)

...the Good... I love new ideas on a new monster...

...the Bad... Dont limited youself to "Inverse" idea on vampirism... have fun with it... :)

...the Ugly... from my understanding 'nudist beach' is a hippy generation fad, and the avarage age in the nudist beach is 40 or older  :buggedout: ... I also understand there are topless beaches but its not the same as a nudist beach, but those are big in europe... and then again, only ugly people love to show-off their naked bodies.

Ok, we all know there are several stories with Nude vampires [for example: Lifeforce] I think it could be done... :)

On the other hand, we all know that, in the movies, everybody gets to be young and beautiful. ESPECIALLY in b-movies that have an exploitative need to throw in as much gratuitous nudity as possible.

The sunlight thing wouldn't be much different from regular vampires, since we see all the symptoms they endure in the sunlight, only these have burns if there isn't sunlight. As for the cross-wearing, garlic-eating ideas, I like them, although they sound kind of silly. I like the idea of a vampire trying to live a normal life (maintaining friendships).

Although I don't like vamp movies (since they're all the same), I'd see this one since it would be something nobody's done before.

They could always fires stakes from their hearts, add a little action to break up the boring naked girly bits :)
