Funny story...

Well my funny story, I seen Mall Cop on our Netflix instant play so I thought, ok... Lets instant play this...

In less then 20 minutes I stop the movie and deleted it from my Queue...

End of my funny story :)

Wow

Such an unfunny opening with a main character that I dont like so I'm not willing to waste the remainder of my time watching...

I actually enjoyed the movie.  Plus Heather Graham is SMOKIN'!!!!
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"

Honestly, I found it to be in the Stupid Comedy genre.  Those are comedies that are found funny by mostly 12-24 year old guys.  But aren't good enough to qualify for the B-grade. Though Mall Cop was better than any of the stupid Will Ferrel comedies.

I liked the movie as well.  It isn't the funniest movie around, but it sure had some fun moments that I enjoyed much.  Kevin James was very good and delivered one of my favorite lines of the movie:

"No one wins with a headbutt."

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

I Saw The Movie And Found It Mediocre

But My Brother Thought It Was Very Funny

Rev. Powell

My 8 & 10 year old nephews think this is the second greatest comedy ever made (after UHF).
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

And it made enough money at the boxoffice, there is suppose to be a sequel to it, or, so I have heard.

I did see the trailers for it, but, like so many of today's films, I had no interest in seeing it, while it was in theaters, and I have yet to see it.

Psycho Circus

I did want to see this one, as I like Kevin James, but I've heard it's not really that funny. I may pick it up cheap if the DVD drops under £4.

I second the the vote of UHF, but I'm weird.

Surely you agree that the greatest comedy ever made was BLOOD FREAK?

Mr. DS

I dont know about this one.  It kind of has the whole "fat guy doing fat guy things" theme going from what I've seen in the previews.

Pennywise

It's actually kind of funny. And it's a hotter woman than Heather Graham (in my opinion) who plays the love interest in the film named Jayma Mays.

One of my closest buddies at work used to be a mall security guard and her mall security stories are sooo funny I thought a movie about a mall security guard could not go wrong!!  I was really disappointed in the first 20 minutes of this that I saw though.  I don't like comedies that are set up to crap on some loser main character for the first 80 minutes and then have the guy be the hero in the last 10 - granted I didn't get to see if that's what really happened,  but it seemed to be going in that direction.  I felt too bad for the guy to think anything was funny.  The girl was pretty cute though.  I wish I had her hair.

Maybe I'll give it another try.

Skull

hehe... I'll give this movie another try after I ask my dentist to remove my front teeth and have him add another set...

This isnt a black comedy so there is no excuse for a poor "unfunny" setup... when Mr. Mall Cop attempted to talk to the lady to calm her down or wanted to give the old man a ticket for driving fast in the mall... these are funny setups but they failed.

Then he got drunk... and made an ass out of himself... NOT FUNNY.

I would see it if Tackleberry was the Mall Cop.. :)
