Cars don't play fair...and theres always unwanted expenses with them unfortunately.  I think teleportation should have been invented already to save us a whole bunch of troubles on all levels.

I can relate, wife took my pickup to get the radiator flushed and I ended up with $430 worth of new shocks.   And I know I didn't get ripped off because I've been using these guys for years.

I'm pretty sure I destroyed the control arms last summer in Maine.  My buddy owns 40 acres on top of a mountain.  The only way up to his place is on an unpaved road.  He told me to drive up as far as I could, then call his cell phone when it started getting too rocky and he would pick me up in his truck.  Stupidly, I drove very far up the rocky road . . . he couldn't believe how far I dared to go in my Toyota Camry.  Now it will cost me $1,000 for this dumb decision.
