I'll usually watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, South Park Mr. Hankey Christmas Classics episode, Santa Clause Conquers the Martians, The original Grinch, the original Rudolph, and both the original and the crappy remake of Frosty the Snowman!

MST3K version of SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS.  I just can't get into the holiday spirit until I hear "Let's Have a Patrick Swayze Christmas."

the original dawn of the dead. I always get a laugh looking for the after christmas sale signs that are in the mall. they're hard to spot. also seeing george romero run through a biker/zombie riot dressed like santa clause is funny .silent night deadly night is also an often watched classic

Actually it's SCROOGE (aka A Christmas Carol)    And it's ALASTAIR SIM, but that's an easy one to spell wrong... I just watched my new dvd of that one, it's incomparable.     The best holiday film, and one of the very best English movies, ever made.

I love watching SCROOGE (1951) every year around Christmas time. Just watched it again the other night too. I've seen it over 20 times before but I still get great enjoyment out of viewing it every year although best of all with family and friend who love the film too. I've seen the name spelled Alistair before but you're right Allhallows, it is spelled ALASTAIR in the film. My DVD is the Emerald Edition version with the U.K. and U.S. versions of the film. The U.S. Version is titled A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Actually I don't see much difference between the two aside from the title.

This may off topic alittle, but has anyone else noticed that the chrysler ragtop in "planes trains automobiles" has the same paint job ( i belive imperial pea) and woodgrain panels as the infamous family truckster in "national lampon's vacation"? The truckster was an early 80's ford wagon.

Just watched Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.  A cup of Sleepytime Tea while sitting in bed watching it.  Ahhh, bliss.
