Which do you prefer? We have an 2 nano's, a shuffle, a touch, and a zune.

I hate the zune! my daughter was the only one who could get the damn thing to work properly so she has that. I have the touch, which I love, and the boys and husband have the nano's and shuffle.

For me the ipod's are so much easier to use than the zune. Do you have a preference? Do you watch movies on yours?
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far~ ruminations

I mostly have Sandisk Sansa players. I get cheap, small-capacity players and put different music mixes on them fornuse in my massage business. Sandisk players work really well for that. My wife has a Zune and likes it.

An ipod-simply for music.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

I like whatever's cheaper.  Unfortunately my kids are of the opposite opinion.  So, yeah...our house is full of crap that stars with "i".

I usually go for the off brands.  Creative Zen was always great.  Right now I use a Sony Walkman that's actually really damn good.  The only thing I don't like about it is that you cannot create a playlist (at least that I know of) using the device itself.  I think you have to load your own playlists on there.  Lame.

I don't like the iPod interface, so I'd say Zune.  The flash based Zune is cheaper than the flash-based iPod, and the hard-drive based players on the Zune have quite a bit bigger screens than the equivalent iPod.  If you really like the iPod interface though, it might be a better pick.

I used to have an iPod nano (3rd gen), but the screen cracked, so I sold it on Kijiji (classified ads site) for $20.  I tried to use a friends Zune one time, but couldn't understand it.

Right now I play my music on a laptop with Ubuntu Linux installed. :teddyr:
