Psycho Circus

Has anyone got any resolutions or aims for 2010?

I made a list of silly little things and serious stuff to try an achieve:

-Buy a new leather jacket (done)
-Get my ears pierced again (done)
-Quit drinking alcohol (12 days sober so far)
-Get my Thundercats tattoo removed
-Go to at least two concerts (just bought tickets for Winger & Kiss)
-Go to at least two football games
-Save up at £5000 by the end of the year
-Move

So, any of you guys trying to be better/different/sensible? Or has it all gone wrong already?  :teddyr:

Let's see here, I've only had made 2 since they are simipler to handle and I know they are realistic for me to be able to do considering my standards and how I am.

1. Stop pulling out my arm hair (It's a bad habit I do when I'm extremely bored.  Happens a lot at school unsurprisingly).

2. Watch every movie I ever bought.  (I have movies I haven't watched since I bought them over a year ago.  One of these days I'll watch Killer Tomatoes Strike Back)

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

1. Take life less seriously
2. Drink More
Mine sound like Im in a downward spiral, but I really do need to lighten up a bit.

I just want to be the best dad I can be.  Oh and to have a much better year than 2009.  I wish the second wish to all my friends and family too.

I don't really believe in New Years resolutions.

Now why would you want to go and do that? I mean, unless you've got Lion-o emblazoned across your entire chest or something. :teddyr:

.I will not fall down in public.
.I will not blow my snots without a rag onto my shoes.
.I will not tell a strange girl that she has a purdy mouf.
.I will not have sex with girls with glass eyes-(cuz it's kinda creepy).
.I WILL buy toilet paper-because coffee filters and the phone book are rough.
.I will not masterbate in public restrooms.
.I will never engage in a discussion of the merits (or lack of) the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW with a lesbian ever again.

My doctor tells me that I have a nervous disorder as I am prone to severe stress, blah blah blah, but what RC just wrote is better than any medicine.

It was a cover job, to hide my ex-fiancee's name. It didn't come out very well.

The Burgomaster

Get back in shape and lose 40 pounds by the end of the year.  I recently found out I have Type II diabetes and the doctor prescribed pills, limited my carb intake, and suggested exercising regularly.  If I can get my blood sugar down through diet and exercise, I may not need the pills.  When I was in my 20s and 30s I was a gym rat, going twice a day for at least 5 days per week (I'd lift weights in the morning, then go back at night for a cardio workout or vice-versa).  At age 45, I don't think I'll ever be that intense about working out again, but if I can do it once a day 4 - 5 days per week, I'll be happy.  So, maybe the diabetes is a good thing, in a twisted way.

I have a chance to go to England in April and Germany in May this year for SA film festivals that are being held in London and Potsdam: I resolve not to let my current ill-health get in the way of my first business trips since 2003 and I hope that my bosses approve these trips, because I have been invited.
