I can't remember whether I turned you on to her or you turned me on to her.   Or maybe we got turned on separately?

I downloaded all the promotional mp3s from the Swedish pop label Labrador as one zip file.  Available here: http://www.labrador.se/sounds.php3.  There's over 60 mp3s in there, 90% English with one band singing in Swedish.  Indie pop and most of it a little too twee or dance-y for my tastes.  Still, I love free legal mps3!

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

When I had posted that pic previously, quite some time ago, I got some heat for the horror of it... (:bouncegiggle:) I think you had responded that she was on your long list of "artists to checkout...?"  I mine old threads on this forum routinely (even got my wrist slapped for it  :bluesad:) and often look for my own old postings of album art rather than page thru photobucket... so I think I glanced at your response when clipping the URL last night.

BTW your fault, I'm listening to, again, BIG STAR Third / Sister Lovers

Ah yes, we discovered her independently at about the same time, I remember now.

I'd been a bit into her going back several years when I had first posted that pic.  (Interestingly, now that I've reposted it, the search engine only finds my latest posting and not the old one I'd found when I had first posted it!  Nor the other RENAUD album cover I'd posted.)
I have 2 of her self-produced (?) CDs.  Of course I uploaded 'em, but my computer does not recognize them (they're unknown artist) so for any info I have to retrieve the actual CD (where could they be?)   :bouncegiggle:

I just love this song so much,

Me too!  But where's João Gilberto on that version?  Everyone remembers Stan and Astrud, poor João gets the shaft.

I thought that clip was very interesting, but you're right, where is JOAO GILBERTO?  At least that's his wife... talk 'bout "the shaft," what about ANTONIO CARLOS JOBIM?
Like many, also one of my favorite albums:
