In a few hours, I'm heading out to UCON in Connetticut...a 5-6 hour car ride....wish me luck.

Gonna try to make homemade french fries again today.  They always glue themselves to the cookie sheet (I make 'em in the oven), but this time, I'm going to put them on a cookie rack on top of the cookie sheet! 

Pretty clever, ain't I?

Sigh...weekends just aren't what they used to be when I was a teenager.

Ok you wild man heres a suggestion.  Lightly baste them with olive oil before putting them on the sheet.  Pampered Chef sells this oven stone that works wonders as well. 

Oh, now you tell me    I'll give that a try next time.  The cookie rack worked okay, it just took about 10 minutes to scrub all the little potato bits off it afterwards.  And my seasoning recipe was sorta mediocre.

Okay, they tasted like half-dry plaster of paris.

Buy one of those and try the olive oil idea after slicing them up.  I've been told I make some wonderful homemade fries and honestly thats all I do.

Been playing music for about 6 hours straight now. I do really need to go out to the store, I should, but I can't be bothered. Music is more important than food or cleaning products.

I tried to watch Galaxy of terror again, and I fell asleep...again.
Not like the film is boring, but they aired it at 2 AM.
Could someone tell me what happens in the last 20 minutes?
