Harrison Ford, was actually helping to build the set of Star Wars since he was originally a carpenter. Lucas decided to hold open auditions for the role and, no surprise beat out Dryfuss and started his career.

Not quite.  Harrison Ford and Lucas had already worked together on "Americn Graffetti".  At the Star Wars casting, Lucas wanted to cast in teams.  He had assembled something like four teams, each team consisting of someone for Han, Leia, and Solo; he was as much interested in the chemistry between the characters as he was the individual actors performance.  At the time Ford was doing some carpentry in the offices where they were casting and Lucas was short one "Han" for a team, so since he knew Ford from their previous work together, he asked Ford to stand in to fill out one of the teams.

Walken's most well known role is probably as the villian in the James Bond movie "A View To A Kill"

Well, I was thinking more like what would he be most publically known for.

But since I remember him most from "Prophecy" and it's two sequals, who am I to say

From what I've read, Sissy Spacek was cast as Leia and Carrie Fisher was cast as Carrie, but for some reason, they ended up swapping roles.

Yes, Walken was also in Catch Me if You Can molst recently. He was also in a Fatboy Slim music video, so now he has a new generation of fans. However, I have a question, who is creepier, Christopher Walken or Steve buscemi??? They did a movie together, Pulp Fiction.
