Adventures of Gerard (1970)

Caught the tale end of ADVENTURES OF GIRARD on FLIX. It is set during the Nepoleonic Wars and Girard who is an officer who serves under Napoleon. The film is a farce that has the feel of a spegetti western. It is made in Italy. I want to see the whole thing now. Hopefully they will show it again.

As a side note, the story upon which the film was based, was written by the same man who wrote all those Sherlock Holmes stories, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
