Yeti - can be associated with lonely places. Certainly the Wendigo is said to be "The Spirit of Lonely Places". Having had the misfortune to encounter something I now truly believe was the Wendigo in my youth, it holds even more frightening relevance for me.

You must know by now that I wax prophetic, morbid, and silly. We've had way too much snow here in New Jersey this winter and any snow monster suited my mood, 'cause that's how I felt shoveling that sh!t, again. And again. Though it's nearly all melted, I was shoveling again today in 60 degree weather to try and break up the mountainous piles of ugly ice. However, I only posted snow monsters when I was the only one on the forum, or, Darksider was prompting me. Plus, it got perpetuated by a brat people and means something, really, only to me. "Malarky"? It's no more "malarky" than fame or shame internet games.

As you wrote elsewhere, I don't really want to go out and have fun or make friends (at least this passing winter. It's been a tough one for me.) I don't hold no "wendigo" delusions though.
