Am I the only one who feels that our popular media, popular entertainment are being dumbed down and dumbed down some more. Why does it seem easier for idiots to get jobs than intelligent people? Are we already living in an Idiocracy?

jase- I thought of that movie the other night.  I was trying to decide wether to watch "i didn't know I was pregnant" or "I (almost) got away with it" and opted instead for dvred Thundarr

I've realized that I when it comes to kids, making plans of any sort is just a crap shoot.  My oldest was supposed to go in for PE Tube insertion next week but of course, he gets himself an awful cough.  It seems he is taking everything home with him from nursery school.   I generally suck at taking care of kids when they're sick.  They listen less than they normally do and I get fed up.   I'm just so sick of it all right now, I wish summer would get here and burn the sh*t out of these f'n germs.

I find it amazing that only two supersonic airplanes were ever pass 3/8 or whatever scale: The famous Concorde and Tupolev Tu-144 I wonder what Lester thinks about this.

I'd like to (mis)quote a professor friend of mine:  "You know, when it comes to students, they should have tougher standards to who gets in (to college) and who doesn't.  Some of these f**kers can hardly read the New York Times, let alone a college textbook.  Those people are better off just going and playing outside."

I don't 100% agree with his statement, but there is a bit of merit to it.

Bull-  well , I think it's an indication that the breaking of those barriars has nothing to do with the Fractional reserve banking or Jackson Pollock so i don't know anything about it. 

I failed EARTH science.  I didn't get NEAR physics. my degree is in art history and I've developed an interest in economics. I'm not mechanically inclined but I am paradoxicly a fan of your stuff in the pics thread. Always looking to expand my horizons.
