While you may not have any physical proof of it, sometimes you just watch a movie and feel like it is evil.  It is trying to kill, it's trying to break you, it's trying to hurt you, and etc.  What films do you think are so bad that they are downright evil?

Me?  I say The Legend of the Titanic and In Search of the Titanic.  The only reason for their existance is to torture and drive curious people to their breaking points by just witnessing them.  They are...*shiver* evil and I would have no problem saying that to the film creators if I met them.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

I half agree with you BELA.  I think TITANIC (1997) is enormously great-bad.  I found it entertaining on the one hand, with awesome effects, but on the other hand, an absurd, overblown, ridiculously implausible, stupid and lame and contrived Hollywood-movie-type romantic-action/adventure-disaster flick... excrutiatingly annoying and a huge waste.  Definitely the longest WTF? moment in 20th century cinema.  Man, I kind of love to hate that movie.

I liked THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (and don't take it personally, I always capitalize and embolden movie titles) saw it a long long time ago and many times; now, I can't sit thru it, but I still like the soundtrack.  It's from RICHARD O'BRIEN's stage musical The Rocky Horror Show... and has all great songs - complete Glam-Pop Sleaze, not exactly an original idea, but maybe now the most prominent intentionally bad movie.   Or is it just MEATLOAF?   :twirl:

MIDNIGHT (1982) is that bad.
SCREAM (1983) is also awful.
BURIAL GROUND (1981) is so mind-numbingly inept it hurts.  A lot.
BLOOD FEAST (1963) is just too difficult to sit through more than once.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I Spit On Your Grave is just plain evil. I'm a fan of the sick and twisted but this movie is straight from hell.

For pure, siezure inducing, moronic evil, you need look no further than . . .

THE LAND OF THE LOST!

Curse you, Will Ferrell!!!!

Titanic I don't think I can sit thruw this movie ever again and I've watch it 3 time 2 of which were forced.
::cough: Twilight ::cough:: a new kind of evil.....

Cthulhu

Cathy's curse.
I'm not sure if it was trying to hurt me but it certainly did.

I used to use watching Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things as a threat to my friends.

Jack

Death Tunnel - they should do a clinical study on the people who made this - they've obviously got the worst case of attention deficit disorder in medical history.  I hate MTV-style editing, and of course these morons had to take it to it's ultimate extreme.

Anacondas Hunt for the Blood Orchid - this was just so damned cliched and predictable that I was correctly predicting - with complete certainty - what the next scene would be and what the next line of dialogue would be.  And just to make a putrid thing even worse, they threw in a horrible comedy relief character that I wanted to bludgeon to death with one of these:

The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

Agreed on Scream but damn, do I ever have a soft spot for that movie. I just bought the DVD which comes with Director's commentary.
Burial Ground is classic Italian cheese though and Michael (Peter Bark) has quite the cult following.

Can't argue on that one. Vile junk. The last thing I want to see in a movie is  gang raping morons. Garbage. Ugh.

Candy
Because I didn't want to watch a dumb blonde girl wander across America being sexually molested by ever person she meets until she finally has sex with her daddy.

Heartbeeps
Andy Kaufman and Bernadette Peters pretending to be robots.  Before long, you start cheering for the killbot to destroy them or for Randy Quaid to finally catch and deactivate them.

Pink Flamingos
Why does John Waters think that I want to see even half of what he filmed?

Can Heironymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?
Once more, a pretentious 1960s film, and, oh goody, Anthony Newley's bare buttocks.

The Lemon Grove Kids Meet the Monsters
On par with the student films that my friends made in high school.  However, unlike those films, none of the people appearing in this are my friends - which means that they are my enemies.
