I wonder if Mark Levin will ever choke to death on his own bile . . .

Seriously, I am pretty conservative, but that guy has MAJOR anger issues.

The weather is warmer now.  This means that they've turned *off* the air conditioning at the factory I work at, and within the next few days, will crank up the heat.  It had to be at least 75 inside the factory today, hotter if you were standing next to one of the glue-melters.  That's a full twenty degrees hotter than the world outside.

I really don't like Winco, at least not the stores out here.  They always treat their customers like they're in the way, or like they're obstacles.

Our cat's litter box is under the sink in the basement.  Every time I go in there to refill his water dish, he hears the water running so he goes in his box and pees.

One of the local blockbusters is going out of business and when I saw the signs I let out a little squeal.. All I could think of was the bargain movies I might find inside. Is that wrong?  :teddyr:

Well the spinal tap (medically correct term: Lumbar Puncture) yesterday was a success!

The actual procedure only took about 10 minutes and I only needed to rest about 1 hour afterward.  So it was much shorter than I thought. I did need to rest at home until I went to bed though. I am very lucky as I experienced  only a little discomfort while many people have bad spinal headaches and back pain.

I would say the worst part was having to use the hospital gown!  :buggedout:

Interesting note: The nurses and staff telling me my discharge instructions said if I experienced any headaches don't just take medicine but also take 4-6 glasses of caffeinated liquid.  Apparently this speeds up blood flow which soothes headaches.

I've had a spinal tap before!  The worst part was seeing my husbands face turn several shades of green while he watched.  My back hurt a lot longer than 3 hours.  No headache though!  I remember asking for the strongest pepsi money could buy!

They actually put one of these in your back?

You DON'T want to know what they put in the front!  :tongueout:

Seriously though, it was a needle attached to some tubing. It drained spinal fluid to be analyzed while also measuring the fluid pressure in my brain area.

Of course I'm relying totally on what the hospital staff told me as I was on my back with my head down and my back was injected with a numbing substance.

They could have been experimenting on me for all I know

Maybe tomorrow I'll wake up and have super strength or something.  Wish me luck!

They might just be experimenting on us poor schlubs in the factory floor (the office workers' cubicle farm is always appropriately heated or cooled) or they might just be sadistic.

Every day I go in and expect to see "Ein Filme Von Fritz Lang" over the door.
