Okay . . . here's my idea.

How about a remake of A Clockwork Orange?

It could be a Jerry Bruckheimer production, directed by Michael Bay.

Alex could be played by Hugh Grant.

Dim could be played by Jack Black.

Never mind. I'll shut up now . . .

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Don't give them any ideas

LOL!

I like the Dim/Jack Black match-up =]

Funk, E.

joe... you are a sick, sick man :-)

f**k yeah, Hugh Grant is one of the greatest actors I know. It would be fun to see him against type

"Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your drink."

"Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it."

Vermin Boy

Jesus, don't DO that!! I have to wash my brain just for conceptualizing that!

What kind of evil, parallel universe could spawn such a hideous idea? (no reflection on you, of course).

JohnL

It could be worse; Ben Affleck as Alex. :)

Squishy

If Chris Farley wasn't dead, we could have an SNL version of the Droogs, led by Adam Sandler. He would, of course, listen to opera instead of Ludwig Von.

Lancer

Sure I could deal with a remake but less "English" and more "Urban like"

Bernie

How about  Carrot Top as Alex?  (Sorry if anybody's eating while they read this....)

Evan3

How about Keanu Reeves as Alex, there would be something disturbing about his blank facial expression as he beats someone to a pulp.

Fearless Freep

less "English" and more "Urban like"

Nah, the English resrver works well against the "what are we willing to do to our citizens to maintain our society"

Shhhhhh!!!! You are giving the studios ideas...
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

The Burgomaster

Carrot Top as Alex? Naaaaaah, I don't think so.

However, I think he would be PERFECT for a live-action skating production of "Chucky on Ice."
