( Sorry about the double post )

I skipped one night of sleep. I'm thinking of skipping the next one also. Is this damaging ?

I'm pretty sure that 2 out of 3 doctors recommend that you sleep at night   You might want to avoid operating heavy machinery or driving at high speeds.

Quote from: vikThat could be brilliant if it'd be turned into a movie

thanks.  It would be marketed heavily to people who have been up for at least 24 hours

I took my 9 year old nephew to see HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON yesterday.  He couldn't enjoy it because he was too anxious to get back home and watch the copy of DESTROY ALL PLANETS that he bought with his own money.  I almost shed a tear.

OK so how do we give this kid karma?

Just wondering: is this an attempt to achieve an altered state of consciousness?

Vik: extreme sleep deprivation can result in impaired brain function, hallucinations, memory lapses and symptoms resembling psychosis.  You might actually be farther ahead/more productive if you take the time to get some brief sleeps than if you try to stay awake for days.  (We've all done it: pulled all-nighters to get caught up.  You really do get more done with some rests at a certain point.)

(Oh man: there I go 'mother hen'-ing again!  Somebody shoot me.)

Circus and Paquita-

When I don't get enough sleep I have both irritability and an upset stomach.  It's a very unpleasant sensation!!

Also, why is it that when I take a bunch of naps I have more trouble staying awake?

I think I might be temporarily addicted to sleep.
