My random thought is:
If a T-Rex has tiny arms, how boring would puberty be?

Huh.... I was sitting here reading through an old Entertainment Weekly I'd not read before, dated September 9, 2009 and an article on King of the Hill's last show caught my eye. In the article each KOTH character got to impart final words of wisdom, and Luanne Platter, voiced of course by the late Brittany Murphy (I miss her) had this to say: "First of all, I have learned that falling in love is easy, but falling in the shower can be deadly."

OK, am I alone in seeing something ironically creepy in those words, given the fact that about three months after this issue came out Brittany Murphy was found lying dead in a shower?

Well, if there's any possible connection to making a public quote and the manner in which you'll die, may I say for the record: "Falling in love is easy, but going to sleep warm and cozy in your bed after a long and happy life can be deadly..."?
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

I was thinking, maybe this site should have a chatroom. IRC or something, it'd really cool and all the members could chat  :drink:

I was at Wal-Mart, checking out the left over Easter candy when I came across a section with chocolate shaped crosses and the first thought that came into my head was, "Man, these would come in handy if I ever ran across any diabetic vampires."

I used to work at a cookie store that made those cookies on sticks. they had a condolense one, as if it was in anyway appropriate to give people decorated cookies when someone DIED.  I hated delivering those

My wife was giving me crap because I didn't know the difference between au gratin potatoes and scalloped potatoes.  I just looked it up - they're the same damned thing!   :hatred:  Yeah, no wonder I didn't know the difference

Oh...I'm gonna get her for this one  :teddyr:

Ahhhhh...Jack?   A word to the wise: tread carefully.  "Au gratin" means "with cheese".  Traditional scalloped potato recipes don't have cheese in them.

that reminds me of the great "oil and vinegar" vs vingrette debate on Howard Stern years ago.

Until Monday, I had no idea that "Afternoon Delight" was a dirty song. (I have only heard the sky rockets part of it)
But now that I know that it is, it makes it sooooo much funnier.

She was acting like they were totally different recipes or something...I don't know  :teddyr:
