Newt is an exceptionally nice person, and might I say a bit more level headed than some influences hereabouts...

My favorite Newt moment was the username thread in which she said, "My name is Rebecca of course." Particularly for me because Aliens is one of my favorite movies ever, ever.

But that aside, Newt is an upstanding person in an already great forum/site. :) Good thread.

I regret to say that, to my discredit, I have not had a lot of direct interactions with Newt.

However, I can tell you that she is a genuine, thoughtful presence on this board. This board would not be the same without her, and I'm glad she has decided to spend her time here.

So, huzzah for Newt!
