It's brilliant but a little darker than previous series....

Hey, Doggett! Yeah, since I posted this I found an online source for watching the first three episodes, and you're right, darker than in the past but so far maybe the best yet in the entire show. I'm going to miss A2A when it's all done. One of my all-time favorites.

A2A was one of the greatest series of all time and IMHO last night it set a new standard for series finales. Truly magnificent! Spooky, sad, touching, edge-of-your-seat suspenseful, shocking, in no way the tiniest bit of a letdown. It wrapped up not only itself but Life on Mars, and did it in a way that left no loose ends, closed all the storylines and gave everyone what they deserved. Just brilliant! Such awesome characters on there. (Now no matter how much the conclusion of what's still calling itself  Lost might suck tomorrow, hey, I've seen already seen greatness this season.)
