RAT PFINK A BOO BOO: It's coming to DVD!

I am not a big Ray Dennis Steckler fan. However, that does not dismay me from seeing his films such as RAT PFINK A BOO BOO and LEMON GROVE KIDS MEET THE MONSTERS, so I am not a Steckler fan YET. But what has kept me from seeing them is their poor quality bootleg releases that have turned up for the past few years.

But, I recently heard that Media Blasters outfit Shriek Show, responsible for the DVD releases of 2019: AFTER THE FALL OF NEW YORK, BURIAL GROUND, and ZOMBI HOLOCAUST, have obtained the rights for RAT PFINK A BOO BOO and it's been restored from the original negative (so long you tattered 35mm prints). Finally, I will get to see a Steckler film.

Now if only Shriek Show would obtain LEMON GROVE KIDS MEET THE MONSTERS and THE INCREDIBLY STRANGE CREATURES WHO STOPPED LIVING AND BECAME MIXED UP ZOMBIES then it would be even more worthwile entertainment.

Questions or comments anybody? Anybody out there see a Steckler film and have something to say about it?

Oh, that is sweeter than sweet! I love Rat Pfink A Boo Boo. It's got just the right mix of cheesiness, knowing humor, and out-and-out thundering insanity. Any chance of a commentary track?

All I have to say is incredibly strange creature... is definitely not a favorite of mine, didn't like it at all really. Don't know the other movies.

Cool, my VHS copy is getting faded with time....RAT PFINK is a cool flick.

Yes, from what I have heard RAT PFINK A BOO BOO is going to have a commentary track from none other than Steckler himself. And K-Sonic also mentioned how his VHS copy is getting bad: well like I said earlier, this DVD release will have the film taken from THE ORIGINAL NEGATIVE (so that does mean the quality will be good).

Also, I just heard that Shriek Show has obtained THE LEMON GROVE KIDS MEET THE MONSTERS so here's another Steckler film I am looking forward to (and one, I might add, that I have always wanted to see). I just can't wait!
