Andrew, in your review of "Remo Williams", you should've called out that Major Flemming was played by Kate Mulgrew, Capt Janeway on Star Trek: Voyager.

Also Wilford Brimley was Mr Smith

Yeah, what he said.

The review was excellent BTW.  Count me in as a huge Remo fan.  The Destroyer novel series by Richard Sapir and Peter Warren (think that's right) it's based on is excellent too.  Chiun is even funnier in the novels than in the movie. Great stuff!

Andrew

I really need to try and read the "Destroyer" stuff.  A gent, who was my brother-in-law for a number of years, used to tell me all about the "Buckaroo Banzai" and "Destroyer" stuff.

Just not into watching the "Star Trek: Voyager" in my time.  Mostly I just do not have time to watch television.  Maybe if I cut myself down to 4 hrs of sleep per night...

Good one agine, Andrew. The Destroyer books made for some effective time killers when i was in Hight School.
Mulgrew's old man ran for Gov. of Ohio last election. We got Taft, insted. Almost as bad as a Democrat by name....when ya ain't got much to choose from, its hard to vote....
Personaly, i think Janeway's chin could be concitered a lethal wepon...

There are a million of 'em at the used book stores.  Start with #1 (Created, the Destroyer) if you can...it sets up the whole series and was the basis for the movie.  My favorite so far is #3 Chinese Puzzle--Chiun really gets to kick some ass in that one.

Oh, and it's Richard Sapir and Warren Murphy (not Peter Warren like I reported earlier).
