Don May's DVD distribution company Synapse Films is going to release a Special Edition (and I do mean SPECIAL EDITION) of STREET TRASH. It's going to be transferred from the ORIGINAL 35mm NEGATIVE, so throw out your aging Lightning Video VHS and the p**s-poor bootlegs!

I just can't wait!

sounds cool, films like Street Trash deserve to be on DVD, otherwise they will just be forgotten about.  There is only 1 copy of this movie in the local rental shop :(

While the transfer of STREET TRASH is still being improved, a wide amount of extras are being gathered. Roy Frumkies, the film's producer, is working on a documentary about the film and will be included on the disk, however due to time constraints (i.e., locating the performers and crewmembers for interviews) it might take some time. Audio commentary is also being planned.

And hey, if you want a DEFINATIVE edition of this classic of cult films, we have to be patient and wait. In the long run, it will be worth it.

*ALWAYS* wait until you have the replacement in your hands before getting rid of your only copy of something. In fact, go one step further and make absolutely sure that the replacment is GOOD and that they didn't leave anything out before getting rid of your original copy.

Then you don't get much in the way of money for the original version.  And i would much rather get a decent price back for the original so it doesn't hit the pocket books that hard.

But then you run the risk that the replacement copy will be missing scenes or not even come out at all.
