It is Lakota for 'house'.  The spelling is most likely due to linguistic conventions (certain letters and letter combinations will be used to represent certain standard sounds so any language can be represented accurately)

And I'm proud of it, too.

Anyone see that movie on Lifetime about that girl who's having problems with a guy?

I really can't respect a guy who does that on a first date  :teddyr:  I think the emotions should come first...

No but oddly I've seen the one where the mother and daughter get into a fight but make up in the end.

Did you see the one about the woman who had the disease but ended up triumphing over it?

I saw one last week about a rebellion in an old folks' home.

It was called THE CANE MUTINY! :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:

Lifetime Movies did have one shining moment: Delta Burke's MATERNAL INSTINCTS.

One of the funniest bad movies ever! Really! The scene with Burke chasing the heroine around the basement of a hospital while waving around a giant monkey wrench and laughing insanely has to be seen to be appreciated.

"Her biological clock kept ticking. Then it exploded."
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.
