Has anyone here ever watched any of this weird series. I had a friend lone me a DVD of the entire thing. What a strange show. There were six episodes made, and probably intended for a cult following all along. John Lurie, and musician and actor who was a staple of early Jim Jarmusch films made it. It looks like a standard fishing show, with John taking various actors he has worked with on exotic fishing trips: Dennis Hopper, Tom Waits, Matt Dillon, Willem Dafoe. He shot footage of these fishing trips in places like Jamaica, Thailand, Costa Rica, Northern Maine, and edited them and added narration that made them into something more funny or bizarre than they actually were. For example, when John and Willem Dafoe go ice fishing in northern Maine, they supposedly die of cold and starvation, yet in the next episode, John is alive for the next adventure. Just curious if anyone else has seen this unusual show.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

No, but I heard of it and was mildly interested in checking out the Jarmusch/Waits segments.  Too bad it's not on Netflix streaming or I'd add it.  I'm interested, but not interested enough to spend a DVD slot on it.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...
