OK people, I'm looking to purchase 3 dvd's and I want some insight on my selections:

1) The Thing With 2 Heads - It looks funny, a white racist has his head transplanted onto that of a urban pimp. It's one from MGM Midnite Movies.

2) Day Of The Animals - Soon to be reviewed on this website, I heard the only good part is when Lesile Neilson fights an actual bear.

3) Son Of The Blob...aka...Beware! The Blob - know as "The Movie J.R. Shot", I'm pretty sure I've seen this a while back.

I pretty much plan to buy the 3 films, but if anyone has any comments, please let me know...are these 3 movies a sound investment?

Haven't seen 2 and 3, but The Thing With Two Heads is classic.  A must-have, I think.

Thing With Two Heads is probably the funniest of the three, and the wackiest, if that's what you're looking for.  And you get more points for humiliating Raymond Milland than Leslie, because the former won a Best Actor Oscar.  (Plus he has to act whilst hanging his head over Rosie Greir's shoulder for much of the picture.)

I'd have to go with "Day of the Animals" myself.  Leslie turning into a maniac and all the silly animal attacks was a real winner for me.

"Get up and move before these damn birds eat your eyes out..."

Oh,yeah! Son of Blob= character actor buffet. Prime velveeta! Blob dies of excess colesterol.  Thing with two heads= choice hunk of beef tries to do the acting thing, decides nitting a sock for Racists mough better idea. top with a pickel and serve. Day of the Animals= I wanna see it! After abby spoke of its all natural goodness, i feel the need for this in my cinema diet. Plenty of roughage!  Lets us know how the DVD's stack up, content wise...and now, its time for lunch!

Thanks to everyone who responded, I bought all 3 movies plus "Black Cat" (Fulci) which will be released on the 12th. I bought them from Hollywood .com, so I'm not sure exactly when they will ship.
