I've been on a 50's kick lately. I haven't had a music "thing" in awhile and I'm enjoying it. I'm sure it will pass in a mont or so but my iPod has been filling up with the likes of Elvis, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Little Richard, Chuck Barry, Eddie Cochran and the like. There's a certain raw elemental power about early rock and roll.
Did I miss this?  '50s Rock is my favorite.  Don't forget BO DIDDLEY if you want pure raw Rock; RICKY NELSON surprises...  FATS DOMINO is great...

"Circlesongs" by Bobby McFerrin.  I can't believe the music critics don't worship this album.
