I was led here via a link when I was looking for information on Tom Laughlin's Billy Jack ~ I came over here, I read Andrew's review, I gained a family and I stayed.

The smell of soiled underpants led me here . . .

Actually, a guy I used to work with showed me Andrew's reviews and I started reading them frequently.  Eventually, I started contributing to the forum.

I'd have thought that those would have had the opposite effect.  :buggedout: :buggedout:

I was mad at stuff and bad movies helped me calm down, so I saw a review of THe Brain from Planet Arous and decided to join.

either that or the stench of 100 year old underpants.
yeah no.

Mr. DS

Something about "free beer".  I'm still waiting.   :hatred:

Soon after my husband got his first computer (for work) and the internet access - back in 1995/6? - I did some searches to see what was out there.  (I had no idea!)  Searching 'B-movies' brought me here.  It was the most interesting site and the friendliest so I kept visiting, joined, lurked and eventually started posting.

Flick James

I was brought in by the "What Was That Film" board. I was trying to remember a film I had seen as a lad that turned out to be Psychomania. I can't remember what my google search was, but it lead me here. Got hooked right away.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

I was watching Most Extreme on Animal Planet one day and they showed a clip of Squirm.  Out of curiousity and at the premise of the film, I searched the Internet for more information about it and reviews about the film.  That brought me to this site.  That was back in 7th grade!  Then I lost track of the site until I found once more in my Sophomore year.  Joined the site a few months later and here I am.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Hammock Rider

Years and years ago before I even knew the IMDB even existed I was trying to prove to my brother that a movie named Redneck Zombies DID in fact exist. I'd lost my copy and figured maybe this new fangled internet thing could help. I ended up here, thought the reviews were hilarious and have been visiting ever since.

Looking for a review of CEMETERY MAN.  Loved what I read and started reading the rest of them, then the forum... the rest is history.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Ed, Ego and Superego

I stumbled on a B-Master's Cabal Set of reviews, and Andrew had the biggest list of movies revieed once I followed some links.  I was hooked, squatted on the boards for a while and then chimed in. Ash, DaveBlackeye, Uthar, and a few others are still around from those days.

I was reading the reviews on "Stomp Tokyo" and found a link to Andrew's review of "Krull". That would have been around 2002.
I didn't discover the forum until late 2006 and lurked for a year or two.
