Umaril The Unfeathered

I'd seen this movie years ago, and it left a big impression on me. It was on AMC a few days ago (and it was the first time since I'd seen it in years) and all I have to say is see this movie!

Roddy McDowall was absolutely masterful in this dark comedy about a guy who suddenly goes stark, raving sane and the rest is pure gold. I think this is his best film ever.

And, kudos to the ever bubbly and beautiful Tuesday Weld as his love interest.

Do you mean TCM? or was it on AMC

This is one of the weirdest movies ever to come out of the mainstream. I really liked it but the stuff with her father was more than a little weird!

I believe it was AMC, though I could be wrong.  I liked the part with Roddy McDowall squaring off with 60's era bodybuilder Dave Draper. That guy was a monster! What a scene that was.

Yeah, the stuff with the father was off the wall, for sure.  There was a not-so-subtle hint of a father-daughter thing going on. In the scene when they were eating, notice how she looked at her father when she bit into the hotdog (as well as the sweater scene.)

And hats off to MILF actress Lola Albright  (who played the girl's mom.)  She could serve me drinks all night. She was hot!
