I had some reprints of old obituaries of various relatives that I had gotten from microfilm at area libraries.

I happened to be looking through that stack earlier today.  I was looking at the obituary for someone in my great-great-grandmother's extended family from the Cascade, Iowa Pioneer when this caught my eye;



How much does anyone wanna bet a copious amount of moonshine was involved here?

If not moonshine, then a mischeivous desire to see if they could get away with telling such a tall tale in a newspaper.

Nah, that was just a wolf wearing a terrible disguise.  I'm surprised the horse fell for it.
