the cbs children's film festival ???

I seen this movie / film sometime in the late 60's or early 70's.  It may have been from the the cbs children's film festival.

They were a group of kid living in a village who had spend months fixing up an old building.... they was run down and left.   After they spent at this time they wanted to have a party and invite the towns people.  Well I think at the end of the movie the towns people took over the building - just like they did before.
