FLU-BIRD

I can well remeber this movie especialy with the little human headed fly screaming as the spider bares down on it and of course AL(DAVID)HEDISON was in the 60s sci fi series VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA and VINCENT PRICE was in several horror films and even appeared on VOYAGE a few times

This is a load of pish. The 1986 David Cronenberg movie is much much better.

This version actually made me cry... I didn't expect "The Fly" to write/scrawl, "LOVE YOU". So sweet.

However, if I had to pick which one I'd prefer to watch... it'd be the Cronenberg remake. That actually got my pulse going. And it has Jeff Goldblum walk around half-naked for a couple of scenes. Hot dayum. ;)

Old creepy one is what I think about the original Fly. It's been a while since I've seen this one but I really admire the early attempts at horror and sci-fi. They're usually better because these folks really did have to try to scare you/make your mind wonder and all that, opposed to how it is now, where everything that can possibly be done with cgi, is. I feel like actors don't even try now.

And whatever happened to these normal looking or unattractive people who could actually act? I'm not talking about this movie in particular, just in general. That's another thing of the past, I guess. It just disturbs me how many untalented pretty people are out there now, It really does.
