You know the joy and peace many people feel at Christmas time that I personally don't understand?  Well I actually feel that on Halloween which of course I keep with me all through the year.  Happy Halloween to my friends here!  Post your costume pics here if you'd like.

Happy Halloween!!  I'm so excited!  I'm dressing up as a ghost.  This is gonna be great!  Everybody better have fun!

If you're into stuff like Dia De Los Muertos, then today is the first of potentially three days of indulging your macabre side.

I've got just a couple of little finishing touches to do on my costume, but I'll post a photo or two when I'm done.

Yeah, I'm not gonna walk around in this. That mask is a little itchy and the "beak" is a little on the heavy side. Not bad for a first try, though.

I hope everyone had a great day!  I think I ate too much candy.. I won't get into any details.  We're watching Monster Dog now!

COSTUMES!!!
I dusted off the old zombie costume for a party on Saturday... it's just not as scary without the blood, but oh well:


And then I was a ghost today!  We made the costume ourselves, so I hope it actually looks like a ghost:


My little Halloweener had a great first trick or treat! She was hugging her halloween pail saying "My bucket, I love it! My candy! I love it!"
