This release caused quite some commotion and controversy at various horror communities. And still does. Two of the guys releasing this were responsible for some serious Internet drama eight years ago, but people didn't forget. In a nutshell: some folks are boycotting the blu-ray because one of the guys is/was a racist and homophobe (he said he's a changed person now but I think he said that so it won't hurt sales).
Same insane guy attacked me at a forum back then when he went on a mad posting spree  
I'm not the one to hold a grudge for eternity though. I might buy the blu even if I feel a bit uncomfortable in doing so.

I love Alien ripoffs so I'll have to check it out when it's available.  It's always good to see another company releasing forgotten movies from the '80s

Interesting, this is a film I've been wanting on DVD (or Blu-Ray - since it doesn't appear they are offering it on DVD) for a while.  Also interesting that the street date is 20101116, but it still isn't listed on Amazon.com or other online retailers I checked.

Alien 2 On Earth getting a Blu-Ray release?  Well then, I want to see Lady Terminator and Redneck Zombies on Blu-Ray as well.  Let's go all the way here by having all the classy b-movies go to the next level.
