Mofo Rising

CHILDREN OF THE CORN II.

Eight years after the first mediocre movie, somebody decided to release this horrible sequel. (It was the rise of direct-to-video sequels in the early '90s.) The worst part is that it opened the door for five more sequels. That's right, there are seven Children of the Corn movies, plus one remake.

They are all awful.

THE AMITYVILLE HORROR also has a lot of horrible sequels, but at least the original sequel had a reason for being, even if it wasn't very good.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

RoboCop 3

That truly was God awful.  I will have to add in The Ring 2 and any of the Grudges.  Can the American remake be enough?
Ah, the good old days.

From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money

I liked the third, but this was awful.

Police Academy, although I can't quite decide where to draw the line. Definitely Police Academy 4 and higher. Police Academy 2 and 3 were nowhere near as good as the first, but watchable. If we're talking worst and most unwarranted, I'd say 4 and higher.

Smokey and the Bandit 3. I think Part 2 did a lot of things wrong, not the least of which was taking a sharp turn toward the cartoonish, but 3 was a whole order of magnitude worse. It lost all connection to reality and had no star, just the supporting characters doing their schtick. Very similar to what happened to Police Academy, come to think of it.

Blues Brothers 2000 and Ghost Busters 2.

I remember how lame Dan Akroyd looked out promoting both of those blasphemous stinkers.
I mean, the originals were classics that were filled with memorable moments and great one liners and to have them turned into such crap was just sad.

Aww...

C'mon, its a little harsh putting Ghotbusters II in the same boat as Blues Brothers 2000.

I couldn't stand GB2. Sorry yall. Peter Mcnichol made me want to throw my pro-keds at the TV.

As an aside, was I the only one who liked Meatballs 3? Shannon Tweed and Sally Kellerman...with McDreamy looking like a fool....bad movie gold!

CINDERELLA 2.

Or any of the other crappy, direct-to-video sequels Disney cranked out for awhile there when they ran out of good ideas.

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!
