Also, I can see his point... 1) no one likes to be called something they find offesnive, and he's a sensitive feller.

It was a joke.

I didn't mean anything.

It's a reference to the comedian Jeff Dunham.

I don't buy that.

I get that you meant it as a joke, and believe that, but that you had no intention of getting a response...that I don't buy.

The reason is that there is no reference to Jeff Dunham, or any way, shape, or form to suggest to Trevor that it was just a joke.

Yes, it's a mistake...and we regret and learn from them.

The reason why this rubs the wrong way so much is that Trevor is from South Africa and has dealt with racism to a degree many of us may have never seen, and has made a pointed effort to point out things to us where racism has been handed a defeat, in steps, such as the efforts both in the production and showing of the film The Wild Geese which many of us may have not realized without him, and makes me respect the film that much more.

Trevor is one of a few people on this board you definitely do not want to suggest is a racist (me being another one; but I would have not been so polite as to post about it, just found out where you had lived....past tense intentional).

This is much politer than I may have replied in the past. It's not a newer better me, I mean why try to improve upon perfection; I just like to watch people squirm now.

Now that I've had my say, and a little fun...at your expense, welcome to the board (I apologize if I am not remembering your user name) and have fun.
