We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Piranha 3-D is probably one of the stupidest, over the top, goriest, nonsensical mainstream movies I have ever seen.

And for that reason, it was my favourite film of 2010 and all kinds of excellent!

I highly recommend this movie to everyone:

Kelly Brook and pornstar lady doing an arthouse underwater dance to a classical score.

+

Ving Rhames vs. Piranha with boat motor.

+

Christopher Lloyd as the mad scientist

+

Eli Roth's head getting smashed by a boat

=

What is there not to love?

That's the same reason why I like Kick-Ass so much, but minus the stupid.

I did love Kick-Ass, it was pretty awesome. But Piranha 3-D appealed more to the "How did they get away with that?! It's not only fairly graphic, but totally ridiculous!" aspect of my film watching enjoyment. Kinda like seeing the newest Rambo. I was surprised that Piranha 3-D wasn't a Millenium pictures effort...
