While watching the Wizard Of Oz the other night (particularly the scene where the Lion/Scarecrow/Tinman steal the Witchs guard's uniforms) how many times people in movies steal someone else's clothing to fit into a place they are trying to infiltrate.  I particularly like in Austin Powers where they parody this having a really tall/fat person go into a bathroom and minutes later Austin/Vanessa come out and the clothes fit to a tee.

How many can we list?

Indiana Jones stealing a Nazi uniform (that doesn't fit too well) from a soldier in the first movie.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

Midnight Express - a guy is put in a Turkish insane asylum, and at the end he kills a guard, puts on his uniform and walks out of the place.  It was kind of believable as it was dimly lit and the other guard only glanced at him.  If my memories from ten years ago are correct  :teddyr:

Die Hard, John McClain tries to steal just the shoes of a very tall German who somehow has very small feet. A funny bit.

The Guns Of Navarone has a scene where the commando unit steals German uniforms to pass themselves off as soldiers and David Niven insults me by saying "Shocking taste in undies, too."  :teddyr: :teddyr:

Droopy's Good Deed
Enemy of the State
The Hitchhiker
Judge Dredd
A Low Down Dirty Shame

More than I expected, when I first started compiling this list.

Strange Brew. Kind of different, in that the villains stole the heroes' clothes in order to frame them. Max Von Sydow dressed as Doug McKenzie is a sight to behold.

When I saw the title of this thread, this scene was the first thing I thought of:
