Dunno for sure but by that poster and current trends they're taking a brilliant comedy horror film and sucking the fun out of it.

Aw give the studio a break. they're not making a movie.They're simply re-purposing and out-moded product/brand in order to maximize revenue streams.

Plus on the IMDB it says that McLovin' plays the re-purposed Evil Ed!

Not that I have any hopes for the remake, but unlike most remakes, which I have no interest in seeing, this does intrigue me enough, that I do plan to see it.
