I do agree with you to a degree about many of the artists mentioned.  However I don't know ANY Moody Blues song.  I do know some Chicago songs though.  They're decent enough.

Slayer's badass though.

Seriously?  You don't know Nights In White Satin?  Or Tuesday Afternoon?  Or In Your Wildest Dreams?  If I could post videos right now (I'm at work) I would; you'd have to remember those.
Can't say I do.

I'll bet you've heard at least one if not all of the title retrorussel brought up, especially Knights in White Satin. Look 'em up on iTunes or Pandora or something and I'm sure you'll recognize something.

Hmm. I'm surprised, Happy. I just figured if you were familiar with Chicago you'd be familiar with Moody Blues. I've always loved Knights in White Satin but overall I've never been a huge fan.

I only know Chicago cause a guy at work has their greatest hits cd and plays it now and then.

I don't think GRAM PARSONS is in the Rock & Roll HOF.

I'll agree with Gram Parsons. He may not have been a wide-scale mainstream success, but his level of influence is undeniable.

Commodores and Cher.  Burt Bacharach I don't remember seeing, and maybe Todd Rundgren for his renowned production work.

There's a number of people in the HOF that aren't really R&R.  Mr. Bacharach I think deserves to get in because of his vast body of work as a songwriter.

I had no idea that neither Burt Bacharach or Graham Parson's weren't inducted. I figured they were. Tell me the system the criteria for putting people in isn't screwed up.
