I'm really sorry about your grandmother, Sister Grace. Both of my maternal grandparents have died and I will never really stop missing them. I don't know what I'm going to do when my father's parents die.  I don't know if this will help or not, but I sometimes think "Would my grandparents be proud of me?" I only deeply care about people's opinions of me if I truly love and/or respect them, so I figure if the answer is yes, then I must be doing something right. Still it's better to hear it from them.

Some people say, you have to get over people's deaths eventually. I think that's utterly ridiculous. Yes, you should not be deeply mourning all the time, but there is nothing wrong with having a bit of sadness at all times somewhere inside you.
