Things You've Never Done That You Probably Aren't Going To Do

Avoiding the obvious (beastiality, sex with furniture, drinking bleach, getting beaten unmercifully, etc) what stuff have you tried/never have tried and have no problem never trying them or never trying them again. There's a few for me:

1.) Concerts -  I'm just done with them.  If I never saw another live concert for the rest of my life I would probably be fine.  I don't like the idea of paying over $50 to see millionaires, the loudness and the drunken/stoned idiots around me.

2.) Roller Coasters – I'm done with them too.  I've been many roller coasters and actually lived near a Six Flags.  So I've done my share of riding on them.  I dunno, the thrill of them is gone for me.

3.) Fine Dining – Did it once or twice and can't find anything about it that blows me away flavor wise.  That and I'd rather not dress up to eat.  Give me a sloppy cheeseburger any day.

Theres more for me but I can't recall them now. Your turn...

1) Skydiving - Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good plane?

2) Bungee Jumping - Too many stories about people not getting tied off properly or the cord being too long.

3) Masturbating

4) Surfing - I spent 8 days in Hawaii and didn't try surfing, so I probably never will.  Seems like it might be fun, though.

Yeah but The GREEN LANTERN coaster will make its debut this spring! It's a stand up coaster and it's FAST.
Plus rumor has it, I've heard it has the largest loop in the world as well... I can't wait.

1.  Never been to a strip club, and most likely never will.
2.  Never cheated on my wife, not about to start.  She'd hurt me.
3.  Never voted Democrat in a Presidential race.
4.  Never flown an airplane (would love to learn)
5.  Never had a tapeworm.

I'm confused if this is stuff we HAVE done and won't do again, or stuff we haven't done but probably still won't do.

If it's the former:
  * Join the military. Did it, don't regret it a bit, but now I'm too old for that s**t.
  * Eat Limberger cheese. Tried it once, and it actually tastes WORSE than it smells. Turned me off to all cheese for about a month.
  * Get married. I got married once and it was a very bad choice that I take full responsibility for. Got married to my current wife and that was a good choice. Even so, I will definately NEVER get married again. Same reason as the military, just too old for that s**t.
  * Vote for a Democrat or Republican for ANY office, unless it's Ron Paul, and if he runs third-part, even better.

If it's the latter:
  * Skydiving. I actually would like to do that. But having kids makes me want to reduce risk.
  * Be a rockstar. I tried. It didn't work out. Now I'm too old for that s**t.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

Yep right there with you on that one.  I'm married now but if something forbid happened to my wife there is NO way in hell I'd do that again.

This is hard, because I don't like to say I'm not going to do something.  Things change, plus sometimes when an opportunity comes up to do something that you've never done before you decide that you would actually like to try it.  Perhaps the only one that jumps to mind is that I've never served in the Army, Air Force, Navy, or Coast Guard and never will.

Oh, I have!  I was based at NAS South Weymouth between 1993 and 1996.

However, I have never been a pirate.

TOTALLY agree with these two.  I recently decided that I'm pretty sure I'm done with concerts.  I hated to accept that it's because I'm getting older, and I still love a lot of bands that are still relevant and touring today, but like you said - they're just too loud and expensive, and you have to deal with idiots.  It's been a little while since I've been to a concert where I didn't wish that I was just at home listening to the music.  Having said that, live music can be incredibly powerful, but just not worth it for me...

Rollercoasters - I gave up on these a long time ago...

I've also never (and never will) smoked.

I'll never skydive. Jumping out of an airplane is unnatural. Birds can have all the sky they want  I'm plenty happy on the ground.
